TOOLING SUPERINTENDENT
(from Indonesian or Malaysian)
Requirements as Below
- Over 7-10 years of experience in the field of mould making. This Includes assembling new mold, Trouble shooting of mold, Project planning, and Process planning. and managing overall man power.
- To study the Engineering drawing released and do review.
- To do the process planning of mold parts.
- Visualize and compute dimensions, sizes. shapes, and tolerances of assemblies, based on specifications.
- To decide on the process outsourcing and follow-up of the suppliers.
- Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, using machine tools and hand tools
- To attend tool tryout and do the trouble shooting and rectification of tooling problems.
- To settle Tool related issues in urgent situation (temporary solution) to meet urgent production delivery, and to fix the tool with Permanent solution for future. To liaise with Quality Control Dept. in case of dimensional or cosmetic issues for products, and to settle the issues within customer requested spec Representing Tool Room tor discussion and meeting along with the Customer, Product Designer, Project Engineer, Tool Designer and CAM Engineer during each stage of the project development and its completion.
- Able to take challenges and perform.
- Leadership skills as well as good communication with coworker.
- Awareness of modern quality systems like ISO, TS, QUALITY CIRCLE, 6S etc.
- Work with all departments with good coordination and communication.
- Knowledge of software like Auto CAD, Microsoft office.
- Duties and responsibilities
- Dealing withe vendors & follow up.
- Monitoring production mold assembly, maintenance of molds in timely manner and monthly report.
- Design modification, new design review and quotation.
- Following up with the vendors or I-n House DFM, FMEA and PPAP.
- Participate and provide solution and project to meet customer's requirement.
- Follow up closely with production, QA to rectify the problems on Plastic Injection parts.
- Involving in mold testing and follow up and rectifying problems
- Analyzing the QA report
